A branded airtime offering provides many additional
revenue opportunities, and the ability to further differentiate
product propositions. Unfortunately, without a strong
understanding of both the technologies and commerical strutures,
establishing an MVNO can be a daunting task.
Additionally, there are large differences between the voice
& data offerings and requirements. Whilst obvious areas such
as billing and customer services are easily resolved, there are
numerous essential services and polices that a serious provider
can't afford to neglect.
Drawing on five years of solving these problems for Orange, as
well as recent and successful support for two MVNOs, I have a
unique understanding of these issues and their resolution. I am
well versed in discussing the pros and cons of various implementation
strategies.
